The service
NetDetectHub offers free network tools: IP, DNS, domain, email-record, website and port checks. They show public data and the result of a check at the moment you run it. Results can differ from what another network or a later check shows, and the site gives no guarantee that a result is complete or correct.
Fair use
- Use the tools by hand, at a normal pace. Automated or bulk querying, scraping the results or using the site's server endpoints from your own software isn't allowed. There are rate limits and they may block you.
- Only check systems you're allowed to check. The port checker tests your own connection only; don't try to get around that.
- Don't use the site to attack, overload or disrupt any network or service.
No professional advice
The explanations are general information. For production systems (email delivery, DNS changes, certificates), check with your provider's documentation before you change anything. You are responsible for the changes you make.
Third-party services
Some answers come from services the site doesn't control: public DNS resolvers, domain and IP registries, Certificate Transparency logs, ipify, IPinfo and Cloudflare's speed test. Their availability and accuracy are theirs. The privacy page lists which tool uses which.
Liability
The tools are provided "as is", free of charge. To the extent the law allows, the site owner is not liable for losses caused by using or relying on a result.
